Crux Underwriting Selects mea’s GenAI-Powered Platform to Enhance Broker Service Proposition

Mea in the news

London, 12th November 2024 – Specialty MGA Crux Underwriting has announced a strategic partnership with mea, implementing their advanced AI powered processing platform to cut the time taken to quote business down to minutes and transform the broker experience.

The partnership integrates mea Platform with Crux Undewriting’s CruxHub, a cloud-based straight-through-processing system that delivers best-in-class user experience and efficiency to both brokers and markets. mea Platform uses advanced natural language processing and machine learning to automatically convert submission data into actionable insights, dramatically accelerating risk assessment and decision-making processes. For Crux, this will transform their brokers’ experience as well as allowing underwriters to spend less time on admin and more time in the market.

Crux Underwriting CUO, Mike O’Connor, commented: “Integrating mea’s AI solution allows brokers to simply drag-and-drop schedules of value, starting with terrorism, directly into CruxHub which then automatically extracts the data and populates our pricing tool, eliminating rekeying and generating quotes in seconds.”

Crux Underwriting CEO, Graham Elliott added: “This is a truly game-changing solution. We assessed a number of data ingestion vendors and found that mea not only understands our vision, market and use cases significantly better than others, it also outperformed in testing. We’re delighted to announce this strategic partnership and excited about what we can achieve together.”

Speaking about the new partnership, Graeme Asquith, UK Managing Director at mea Platform, stated: “Crux are mission driven to create a seamless and efficient broker experience, enabled by cutting edge technology – we’re proud and excited to have been selected to deliver this transformative solution. We’ve recently signed deals with some of the largest and most progressive global (re)insurers and this latest partnership with Crux highlights the strength of our offering in all parts of the market.”
